The story of our group dates back to the early 1900s, when Bechara Karam founded one of the Middle East’s first timber trading and distribution companies in Beirut. Over the following decades, Karambois grew substantially, expanding its operations across the Levant and building a strong reputation for quality, expertise and reliability.
Today, Karambois is one of the MENA region’s leading companies in its sector, with a global sourcing and logistics network and more than 40,000 square meters of combined warehousing and processing facilities.

In the early 1990s, the family began diversifying its activities into hospitality, with the acquisition and development of the Domino’s Pizza and Chili’s (Brinker International) franchises in Paris, France.
In 1996, the group further expanded into the hotel and lodging sector through a strategic partnership with AccorHotels, one of the world’s leading hospitality groups.

Today, our operating companies remain under direct ownership and management. From our origins in timber to our activities across hospitality, lodging and real estate, we have evolved into a diversified group employing over 300 people, united by a shared commitment to integrity, excellence, and long-term value creation.
